This apartment in central Heidelberg was lacking in natural light.  The bedroom had no windows to external light, only windows to the living area and a common area.

When styling the bedroom, I incorporated fresh colours to invigorate the space.  Rather than going with white bed linen, I introduced grey as white would be too stark with the white walls and artificial light.  The grey helps give the bedroom homeliness.  The addition of green further adds to the homely atmosphere.

In the living area, a cheery yellow modular sofa added some much needed freshness and fun to the space.  White and walnut furniture with an earthy rug to cover up the dark carpet were also added.

The balcony need some fun too, so bright yellow armchairs were added.
